Will Muschamp gets fired, and two of South Carolina’s best defensive players in their secondary leave the team. The defense has plenty of injuries and with players leaving the team I don’t see how they can get up for this game. Mike Bobo the offensive coordinator takes over as head coach, and he’s a guy that likes to throw the ball, and take shots deep, and gets to go against Missouri’s defense that ranks 97th in EPA pass defense, 95th in YPP defense. Missouri is also missing defensive players due to injuries and COVID, and haven’t played in 3 weeks.
Missouri’s offense should put up some points on South Carolina who ranks 110th in EPA pass defense. So both teams weaknesses are in their pass defense, they aren’t able to get after the QB, and both red zone defenses are bad. I just think this game could see lots of points. When there is a lack of motivation we tend to see the offenses take over.
